New Car
So last weekend I bought a new car. It's a 2001 Volvo CrossCountry Wagon. It had 80K and was very nice. I needed something that got better gas mileage than my truck. This gets 21 city and 28+ hwy. It has a 5 cyl engine and runs oh so smooth. I will miss sitting high up in a truck but all the bells and whistles that come with this car are quickly making me forget. The one thing I was surprised by is the gas tank. I thought I was downsizing. But the tank holds about 3-4 gallons less than my V8 truck. So I guess I will have to fill up less often. I guess now all I need are a few kids to fill it up.
I think I'm getting older.

Congrats on the new car! It definitely takes some getting used to being low down after owning a truck, but the whole tight steering thing is really great!
Uhhh, you bought a wagon! WOW! I mean, how old are you again? Why a wagon?
My hubby is going to be the hottest man on earth who drives a station wagon. I love it!!!
I bought the wagon b/c it gets better gas mileage, still has room for me to go to Lowe's, can hold my golf clubs, TURBO, and one day I'll have kids to fill it.
My Z71 gets better gas mileage than your Volvo Momma's Wagon....if you believe that, then I've got some beachfront property in Arizona for a bargain price. By the way, does it have a flip up 3rd seat where you ride backwards? Man, have I got memories of us riding in your Mom's wagon in the backwards seat.
